PAST EVENTS
FAIR: Saturday 1st November 2025, 10.30am-4.30pm: Wanstead Independent Book Fair. Wanstead Library, Spratt Hall Rd, London E11 2RQ. I sold my zines on Polite Phrase of Punjabi, Greetings in Gurmukhi, An Ode to Movement, and Growth. I also sold some Mystery Bags for £3 with a value of £5-£6 worth of items. I had 2 donations for my Paintings for Palestine totalling £20.
ZINE FAIR: Friday 24th October 2025, 11am-6pm: Zine Fair with Print Gully at University of Westminster. FREE ENTRY. INSTAGRAM POST Harrow Campus, Watford Rd, Northwick Park Roundabout, Harrow HA1 3TP I shared a table with @designdrawdo. I sold my zines on the themes of nature and my mental health, plus my Punjabi/Gurmuki zines. I also did trades of my original watercolour paintings and zines, including the abridged zine ‘What happened to my senses?’. I forgot to pitch my original watercolour Diwali cards (it was Diwali on Monday 20th October this year). I sold out of my Mystery Bags which included a greeting card, 2 zines, and a mini-art watercolour. Each mystery bag was sold for £3 and had a value of £5.50. The hosts of this zine fair described my work as “Pam Kaur Gibbons use[s] zines as tools for cultural reclamation, identity, and care,”. Finally, I had 4 donations for my Paintings for Palestine totalling £24.
TALK: Monday 13th October 2025, 7.15pm-8.45pm: LDC Online Global Monthly Talk. I shared my art making practice and how I went about making my graphic narrative, what happened to me senses?
ZINE FAIR: Saturday 4th October 2025, 10am-5pm: FREE ENTRY. The Shire Hall, Tindal Square, Chelmsford CM1 1EH. I tabled with Cat Andrews and Cherish York as well as selling zines for Zine You Next Tuesday and Noor Design Do Draw. I sold my own zines about Punjabi/Growth/Mental Health/Nature. Finally, I had 2 donations for my Paintings for Palestine totalling £6.25.
